DANCE

KALA SAMARPAN - FOR ALMA MATER
Six accomplished women artists, all Sacred Heart alumni, will come together for ‘Kala Samarpan’ on November 22 Actor Vyjayanthimala Bali, violinist Viji Krishnan, and classical dancers Anita Ratnam, Meenakshi Chitharanjan, Urmila Satyanarayanan and Sreelatha Vinod are all alumni of the Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School-Church Park convent. And on November 22, these six accomplished women will come together for ‘Kala Samarpan’, a one-of-a-kind evening of
music and dance, as part of the school’s ongoing centenary celebrations. The show will see each artist giving a brief individual performance, but there are also some surprises in store, such as the joint performance being planned by the four dancers, especially for this occasion.

‘Kala Samarpan’ will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Church Park auditorium on Nov 22. Passes priced at Rs. 500, Rs. 300 and Rs. 150 are available at the school and also at the venue on the day of the show. For details call 28352118.
